Kids Don't Go With Strangers

Kids, Don’t Go With Strangers,” a Michigan-based program used nationwide during the 1970’s Oakland County and Atlanta serial child slayings & was re-launched with an all-new set of supporting multi-media materials including a children’s coloring book & sing along audio CD.

This award-winning public service program presents a crucial child safety message to younger children in a highly effective non-threatening manner.

Presentations of “Kids, Don’t Go With Strangers,” materials are available for elementary school use and will be scheduled and made available through LEEP andparticipating schools and police departments, or local business sponsors, along with the other popular “Students On Sobriety” and “911 – Your Friend,” programs.

Leading LEEP’s expanded effort this year is 29-year Monroe PD veteran Sgt. Tom Jenkins. The former road patrol officer teaches at the Macomb County Police Academy and is an MCOLES instructor. Jenkins also travels as a TIPS Alcohol Management Instructor and for the past three years has been responsible for the live presentations on behalf of LEEP programs throughout Michigan and Ohio.
